Policy Statement and Purpose:

EventNook Pte.Ltd. (EventNook, we, the company) is committed to conducting all its business dealings with integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws. This policy reflects our zero-tolerance approach to corruption and bribery, and it aims to uphold our reputation for ethical business practices.

Scope:

This policy applies to all employees, directors, officers, contractors, and business partners of EventNook, including agents, consultants, and any other third parties acting on our behalf across all countries where we operate.

Definitions:

Bribery: Offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty.

Corruption: Abuse of entrusted power for private gain.

Prohibited Conduct:

Gifts and Hospitality:

Employees must not offer or accept gifts, hospitality, or expenses that may influence or appear to influence a business decision. Any gifts or hospitality above a nominal value, as defined by our company's guidelines, must be reported and recorded.

Facilitation Payments and Kickbacks:

EventNook prohibits making or accepting facilitation payments or kickbacks. These are illegal and against our ethical standards.

Political and Charitable Contributions:

Political contributions on behalf of EventNook are forbidden. Charitable contributions must be transparent, approved by management, and aligned with our company values and policy.

Responsibilities of Employees and Management:

All employees are required to comply with this policy. Management has a specific responsibility to act as role models and support employees in understanding and adhering to these principles.

Training and Communication:

EventNook will provide training on anti-corruption and bribery to all employees, ensuring a thorough understanding of their obligations under this policy.

Reporting and Whistleblower Protection:

Employees are encouraged to report any suspected breaches of this policy. EventNook guarantees that no individual will suffer retaliation for reporting concerns in good faith.

Record Keeping:

Accurate and complete financial records must be maintained for all transactions to ensure transparency and facilitate auditing processes.

Monitoring and Review:

This policy will be monitored for its effectiveness regularly and is subject to review and update as necessary.

Legal Compliance:

Legal compliance is mandatory in all countries where EventNook operates, including Singapore. This includes compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, such as the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Penalties for Violation:

Violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, and may involve legal consequences.

Implementation and Oversight:

Responsibility for implementing this policy lies with senior management. A designated compliance officer will be responsible for overseeing its enforcement and reporting to the management team.
