Tan Li Jen – Senior Principal Clinical Psychologist and Senior Deputy Director, Clinical and Forensic Psychology Service, Rehabilitation and Protection Group, Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)

Ms Tan Li Jen holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland, Australia, and has over 20 years of experience as a practicing psychologist working with adults, children and families in government and hospital settings. A certified trainer in evidence-based interventions such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, she has facilitated the development of trauma informed systems of care. 

At MSF, she oversees the Center for Trauma Recovery which provides psychological services in settings that serve trauma-exposed children and youth, such as child welfare, foster care and therapeutic group residential homes.  Her clinical interests are in trauma psychology, child and parenting interventions, and disaster mental health.
