The Honourable Justice Sharon D Melloy – Family Court Judge, District Court of Hong Kong

Her Honour Judge Melloy has been sitting as a Family Court Judge in Hong Kong for over 13 years and has survived to tell the tale. She was originally a solicitor and she has practiced in both London and Hong Kong. She also enjoyed a brief stint in academia, which is when she also established a mediation practice specializing in family law matters. She has an ongoing interest in most areas of family law including alternative dispute resolution and children’s law and was instrumental in setting up the Children’s Dispute Resolution scheme in the Hong Kong Family Court.  

Judge Melloy has published a number of articles and has sat on a number of family related committees. She has also been a regular participant in family law conferences.
